The standing threat of technology, greater than ever in the age of AI, is that it will lead us to forget our own dependence--and particularly our interdependence on one another--pulling us away from our humanity toward an idolatrous worship of self and of our own creations.

Semper Reformanda & Theological Conservatism
Dr. Tyler Bauer examines the challenges Protestants face in inheriting the Christian tradition after the Reformation. He responds to common Catholic critiques about Protestant disunity and innovation, showing how these arguments often rely on rhetoric rather than substance. Bauer emphasizes the Protestant commitment to biblical authority and continuity with the faith once delivered to the saints, even amid diverse traditions. His talk invites viewers to reflect deeply on questions of unity, tradition, and truth in the Christian life.
Convocation 2025
Reformed Evangelical Seminary opened its third academic year with a convocation ceremony featuring prayers, scripture readings, and an address by Reverend Dr. Joost Nixon on the church’s role in God’s redemptive plan.
Board Appoints Pastor Virgil Hurt Next President
Pastor Virgil Hurt will become the Seminary’s second president on July 1st, 2026, when organizing President, Dr. Roy Atwood, retires as President Emeritus.
