Terms & Academic Year
The Seminary’s academic calendar includes four terms:
Trinity Term (September–November)
Incarnation Term (January–March)
Resurrection Term (March–June)
Pentecost Term (June–July – Summer Intensives)
The first three terms are 11 weeks long (10 weeks of classes + 1 week of exams). Pentecost Term offers 5 weeks of classes followed by 1 week of exams.
Scheduled Breaks
Advent–Christmas Break: Thanksgiving through New Year’s
Easter—Holy Week: Variable, dates observed; does not always align with Spring Break
Summer Break: Late July through late August
The Seminary also reserves the end of August for:
“Jump Start” biblical language courses
Remedial work
Program requirement catch-up

Convocation: Early September
Commencement: Early-mid June
RefRESh Conference (Mid-late June):
A weeklong gathering for students, faculty, staff, and Board members—focused on fellowship, community building, spiritual renewal, and recreation, just before Summer Intensives begin.
