RES Summer Fare

RES's 2026 Summer Fare is a three-course menu featuring counseling, Christian education, and pastoral ethics, all kicked off by our annual in-person Refresh Retreat.

The Rev. Dr. Steve Jeffery's two-day, in-person intensive course on Deceptively Difficult Pastoral Questions runs during our annual Refresh Retreat in Moscow, ID, June 25-26. Don't miss this in-person course and the opportunity to gather face-to-face with your fellow students and the RES staff, instructors, and board during the retreat. You can take in Pastor Jeffery's course and witness the installation of Pastor Virgil Hurt as the Seminary's second president on Friday evening of the Retreat.

Our two other Pentecost Term courses begin June 29. Pastors Bo Cogbill and Duane Garner will address complex problems in counseling, and Pastor Devin Smith will present a philosophy of Christian education. The education course is our featured non-credit Church Enrichment course this summer, available to our Church Partner and Global Church Associate congregants for free.
